My (very thin) publication history
The issue: I am not a researcher, although I have been involved in research projects and therefore have a couple of publications published or on the way, as a co-author.
Solution: I recently created a page on Research Gate, where the readers can have a look of what have I been working with in the last years. You can see it on the following link:
Paulo Girao (researchgate.net)
Besides the articles where I am mentioned as a co-author, I have also contributed to designing and programming data analysis tools in the following articles:
Organization of Posterior Parietal-Frontal Connections in the Rat - PubMed (nih.gov) (1)
Recurrent inhibitory circuitry as a mechanism for grid formation | Nature Neuroscience (2)
In article 1, I wrote the Matlab script that does the flatmapping process, and part of figures 5, 6, 7 and 8 are a result of that script; I also wrote the Flatmap Illustrations chapter in the Materials and Methods section.
In articles 2 and 3, I wrote the script that permitted to output the PSP response matrix that is seen in figure 4 of article 2 and figure 5 of article 3. I also wrote functions for separating and averaging the individual electrophysiology traces for each laser stimulation point of the optogenetic setup used.
In article 4, I wrote a refined version of the sorting and averaging algorithm that I had written in the previous two articles.
In article 5, I wrote a conversion script that allowed to convert data from HEKA Patchmaster original format to txt or csv format.
